Father’s role in enabling daughters to become truly empowered women

Women Empowerment

Fathers indeed play a significant role in their daughter’s sense of self confidence, self-esteemself-motivation all of which are important for her self empowerment both as a kid and when they grow up to become adults.

Perhaps one of the most important things here is the ability of the father to treat the women in his life (his own mother, his wife – the daughter’s Mother, sisters & women at work in all walks of life) with equality, respect, dignity & care. Also (and this is crucial) the ability of the father to teach the daughter to be “self-sufficient”, “self-reliant”, “self-disciplined”“leading herself” without losing the ability to work with others / in a team or being led, will build her up to be a confident and truly empowered woman when she grows up.

Remember, kids (male/female) dont do things they’re told to do, they do that which they WATCH their fathers (& mothers) do. How they interact among themselves.

Hey, if he can teach her to lift / take her to the gym & influence her to work out—he could be giving her a head start to being Empowered.

So fathers..what in your view helps kids feel empowered?
